Trijicon SRS Review

Here is our long-awaited Trijicon SRS review. Trijicon was founded in the year 1981 and it is credited with pioneering the use of tritium and fiber optics to improve the sighting in full light and blackout conditions. It is the first company which released the first Tritium powered dot sighting system in 1981 which soon began to be adopted in firearms by the military. The company released the Trijicon SRS – which is Sealed Reflex Light – in the middle of 2012. For Trijicon, the primary optical design emphasis for its SRS was to offer users the largest field of view without the limitation of tunnel effect but keep the sight housing as short as can be expected. The SRS comes with a large 38mm objective lens along with dual-illumination 1x42mm Trijicon Reflex. The two sights from Trijicon come with the largest vision fields among all the reflex sights to be found in the market. The Trijicon SRS is the latest red dot sight to be found in the market.

The shorter housing of this sight can remove the tube-effect which is typical of various other sealed reflex sights. It makes use of dual power sources – a unique solar cell which is powered by a single AA battery. The sight consumes less rail space and has been designed to last for a long time, as can be expected from Trijicon products. The SRS has a large 28mm aperture and it can offer a huge field of view for the purpose of faster target engagements. Its 1.75 MOA dot is minute enough for the purpose of precision. It has 10 brightness settings which are bright enough for about any speed.
